Toddler Day Out & Great Parenting Fair 2008

Last year 11,000 people attended Toddler Day Out and this year, as its returns for the fifth time, it looks set to be even bigger as it's hosted at Waitakere Trusts Stadium for the first time.

The purpose of the day is to provide as much information as possible about early childhood education and other relevant childcare and family services to young parents.

Various providers will be available to answer any questions and a large play area is set up within the centre of the expo with activities for the pre-school age group.

There will lots of other fun entertainment options including rides, stage shows, competitions, free massages and much, much more to cater for everyone including brothers, sisters, uncles, aunties and grandparents!

Learning is for Life

There are over 1000 courses being offered this year.

Courses are inexpensive and conveniently located and designed to meet your needs.  Classes are taught be tutors, qualified in adult learning, many of whom are specialists in their particular fields.

Take the opportunity to study a subject you've always been interested in, to refine an existing skill or to branch out into unexplored territory.  You'll find that learning is easy in a relaxed, sociable atmosphere with other adults.

There is also a Kids Korner offering courses for children aged 5-12 years and a Teen section catering for 13 - 18 year olds.
